Second Baruch

English, translated by Online Critical Pseudepigrapha — Online Critical Pseudepigrapha, English of the critical text

And after these,

you saw

bright

waters:

this is the fountain of Abraham,

and his generations, and the coming of his son and of his son's son,

and of those who are like them.

Because at that time the unwritten law

was named among them,

and the works of the commandments then

were being

fulfilled,

and faith in the future judgment was then generated,

and hope

in the world that is renewed

was then being built,

and the promise of the life that comes afterward

was being

planted.

These are the bright waters which you saw.
