Second Baruch

And I answered and said to the people: Far be it from me

that I should abandon you or depart from you!

Rather, I am only going as far as the Holy of Holies

to inquire of the Mighty One concerning you and concerning Zion,

if perhaps I may receive some further illumination.

And after these things, I will return to you.
