What it is

A short trinitarian confession said to have been given to Gregory in a vision, stating the full equality of the three without the philosophical apparatus of the next century.

Why it lasted

Preserved in Cappadocia and cited by Gregory of Nyssa, it shows how far trinitarian language had developed before Nicaea.

Where to read it

Public domain and free to read in full, though not held here. The archives below have it.

These open a search on each archive rather than a direct link, which is the honest way to point at an edition nobody here has checked line by line.
