What it is
A short trinitarian confession said to have been given to Gregory in a vision, stating the full equality of the three without the philosophical apparatus of the next century.
Why it lasted
Preserved in Cappadocia and cited by Gregory of Nyssa, it shows how far trinitarian language had developed before Nicaea.
