ArrHovGH human nature itself inclines us to show pity and consideration to age, to the old, that is, and to children, still it is proper that the authority of the Rule should provide for them. Let their weakness be always taken into account, and let the full rigour of the Rule as regards food be in no wise maintained in their regard. There is to be a kind consideration for them, and permission is to be given
