What it is
A post-resurrection dialogue in which the risen Christ answers the eleven, written in the form the Gnostics favoured but arguing hard for a real body and a real resurrection.
Why it lasted
A rare orthodox text that fights Gnosticism by borrowing its genre rather than denouncing it.
