What it is
Complaints to the imperial court that Jews in Lyon enjoy protections and market privileges Christians do not, and that Christian slaves are being sold to them.
Why it lasted
Catalogued because it must be known: an articulate bishop laying out the arguments that would harden into medieval anti-Jewish legislation. It is also, unintentionally, evidence of a flourishing and confident Jewish community.
